Today is Mother’s Day in Brazil. Brazilian Mother’s Day is commemorated every year on the second Sunday in May. This year coincidentally Mother’s Day occurred on the 13th of May which is also the anniversary of the Golden Law, Lei Aurea in portuguese, signed by Princess Isabel in 1888 to legally end the slavery nationwide. What a coincidence! Anyway Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers in the world.
