While I was checking my feed reader I read that Gary McKinnon song has hit MySpace. Although the video is not in MySpace any more, it can be seen in YouTube. I did a quick search on the topic and I found out he wrote and performed some songs for the film Lunar Girl. He also was cast as ‘Ginger’.
I love science. I understand what curiosity means. I don’t mean that curiosity about what a pop star had for dinner or curiosity about how the neighbour got his brand new car. I’m talking about learning things about the planet we live.
As far as I am concerned Gary McKinnon was just curious about UFOs. There is no doubt that he is a very clever human being. It’s known intelligence and truth frightens some type of people. Ok, he accessed the systems without having authorization, in fairness, he should suffer the consequences of his action in his own country. Perhaps he could have avoided being caught? 😉 To face extradition and 70 years in a US prison is a bit over the top.
Come on! The guy didn’t kill anybody!
