I bought a nice Columbia jacket model Diamond Run in Elverys Sports last year. Because of the beginning of the Summer I decided to wash it following the manufacturer’s directions; after this the Columbia jacket was destroyed, the green part mixed with the white part.
I wonder why Columbia fabricates white jackets which get dirty easier, if they cannot be cleaned. My son has a navy one (same brand but different model) with white details, it has never been washed, I wonder if I should do it.
After my disappointment towards the Columbia brand I brought the destroyed jacket to Elverys and showed them what had happened, they asked me if I had the receipt, unfourtunately I didn’t. The good news is, they gave me a refund and because most of the winter clothes had their price reduced I exchanged the original one for three jackets, different brand of course!
I always thought Elverys was the best place to buy sporting goods in Ireland; their staff are always very helpful and this time they proved they have a great customer service.
