Finally we moved to a bigger house. Dragging furnitures and boxes full of stuff wasn’t easy for us. Organizing and putting the things in the right places were not too bad. The worst part was to transfer the TV and Internet services. It amazes me the way the whole family became so dependant on the Internet. We’ve suffered for two weeks with a completely intermittent connection but yesterday, after a long brainstorm I finally fixed the problem using my notebook connected to the modem via Ethernet cable. We were so desperate for an internet connection that we bought a ZTE USB modem from 3 Ireland, in our opinion an excellent option. It worked very well, and the best part is, there is no contract, you own the modem and you top up your time of access whenever you need.

I forgot to tell that my next task is to get the oven to work. There is a wonderful cooker in this house, but its oven is so dirty that I still haven’t had courage to put any type of food into it. Just to give you an idea, when I first opened the oven door there were still pieces of rashers hanging on the grill, absolutely disgusting. So tomorrow I am going to wear my “Dexter’s Mom” gloves, safety glasses and medical mask to face the filthy oven.
