We watched two films during the weekend. The first one was Pirates of the Caribbean – At World’s End , in our opinion a 5 on a scale from 0 to 10. I enjoyed when Keith Richards showed up as Captain Teague, Jack Sparrow’s father and says: “It’s not about living forever, Jackie boy, it’s about living with yourself forever.” I think it’s cool because according to Johnny Depp he is inspired by the cartoon character Pepé Le Pew and Keith Richards to play the role of Jack Sparrow.
The other DVD we saw was Once and it deserves a 10 on a scale from 0 to 10. The soundtrack is absolutely gorgeous. This film was produced with a budget of only $160,000 and its main characters are musicians and not professional actors, which makes it more interesting. I simply love Irish films, but you know… I’m biased.
