There are two Heineken ads that I simply love. They have been created by McCann Erickson Dublin.
According to the advertising agency these two ads are the first of a 3 part campaign. It’s said that they are about “a guy who is travelling around the world, seeing new places and meeting new people, as new memories are made, old memories in his mind need to be erased. The ad intercuts between reality and inside his head where his “memory hotel” checks in new memories and gets rid of old ones.”
I can understand perfectly that the guy was on a trip in Brazil, it’s easy for me to identify those parts in Portuguese, the samba the group is playing and when Rodrigo Cardoso shouts his name out loud, but I wonder about people who only speak English and watch this ad on TV here in Ireland, perhaps they think it’s totally nonsense?
