Picture I took of the Kenyan Passion Fruits from Superquinn

I was missing a brazilian dessert made of passion fruit called maracujá mousse. Yesterday we went to Superquinn and I saw the passion fruit on the shelf, the difference is that the passion fruit they import in this supermarket comes from Kenya, its color and size are different from the brazilian ones which are yellow and bigger, the kenyans are purple and small. I used 12 to prepare a medium passion fruit mousse tart and in spite of the differences the final result was absolutely gorgeous. There is nothing like the maracujá smell. I miss lots of things from Brazil, I miss going to the sea for a swim when the Sun is going down and everything becomes red in the summer, I miss the smell of the sea, the colors, but that’s a subject for another post.
