Driving Test In Ireland – 2nd Attempt 2

Psycho Today I had my 2nd driving test here in Ireland and guess what? I failed again! Hooooooray!!! 🙂 As a matter of fact this result isn’t news for me, as when I posted about my 1st driving test I commented that I didn’t have a clue when I am going to pass it.
This time things were completely different, the tester was a terrible nice guy, I stayed calmer and could perform the exorcist neck, for those who don’t know, it means to turn the neck to right and the left to show the observation skills :D, this time I didn’t have marks about driving dangerously or not paying attention, I failed because of progress, which means going too slow (DON’T LAUGH!). I drove through a residential area full of bumps and with cars parked on both sides. I thought I was not supposed to speed over bumps…well I really don’t know the reason for so many marks on ‘progressing’. What did I learn this time? Nothing at all, because again, I have no idea how my driving can be improved, perhaps I need psychiatric treatment? It’s amazing how different testers have different opinions…Let’s see if I am luckier with the 3rd attempt, or the 4th, or the 5th, or the 6th, or the 7th, or the…
I’d appreciate if you’d participate in my poll on the Irish Driving Test. Thanks ! 😀

I’m a 60yr old female (accessed as very safe driver by insurance evaluators)I have driven in USA (I learned in NYC) for 40yrs without an accident and in that time have one claim (a driver drove into me stopped at a stop light)I’ve driven in Ireland, where I now live, for 6yrs without an accident or any pts on my license or any claims. Alas I’ve failed the Irish test twice..signaled a “bit” late at roundabouts, didn’t pull close enough to the line when turning right.didn’t consistently look around “hard” enough all the time..please.I drive an automatic and the tester still had me pull to the kerb and start again using the emergency brake..EGAD
